Deleting your data

Neighborbook communities are invitation-based, and accounts are managed per community, so deletion is handled for you rather than by a self-serve button. There are two levels:

Leaving a community

To stop being part of one community while keeping your account, ask any administrator of that community to remove your membership. Your shared providers and recommendations remain in the community, as they are community knowledge.

Deleting your account and data

To delete your account entirely, email support@theafoundry.com from the email address you sign in with, with the subject line “Delete my Neighborbook account.” Signing in from that address verifies your ownership, so no additional proof is needed.

When we receive a verified request we will:

• remove your memberships from all communities,
• delete your profile, household records, private prices, and saved providers,
• remove or disassociate the content you shared with communities, and
• delete your account.

Verified requests are completed within 30 days, and we will confirm by email when your data has been deleted.
